1.Museum of Illusions , Connaught place

The Museum of Illusions in Connaught Place, New Delhi is India’s first optical illusion museum. It is a fun place to challenge the senses by exploring exhibits which include holograms, a supposedly rotating cylinder, a room with no gravity, rooms with mirrors that distort reality and much more.
Within the museum of illusions are a plethora of holograms which are basically images that create 3D illusions of all kinds and often change or disappear. One can also get to see photo illusions which come with all kinds of backgrounds, or experience a stereogram that is a picture. It contains a hidden object which appears to be 3D when viewed from a certain angle. There is also a Smart Playroom here which is aimed at stimulating cognitive function; one can learn through puzzles, mathematical games, building blocks, impossible knots etc. The Smart Shop sells many kinds of games, souvenirs and small optical illusions items in illusion museum in metropolitan city delhi .

2. National Science Centre, Pragati Maidan

The National Science Centre established in 1992, is a science museum in Delhi, India. It is part of the National Council of Science Museums, an autonomous body under India’s Ministry of Culture. The National Science Centre in Delhi, commonly known as the Delhi Science Museum, is one of the country’s most prestigious centres for science and technology.
It is a constituent part of the National Council of Science Museums, that hosts several reputed personnel, such as Nobel Laureates, famous scientists as well as technocrats and astronauts, in addition to famous educators from the field of science regularly at its many seminars.
The Science &art museum is spread over four floors and has seven galleries dedicated to the various different aspects of science, such as the Science and Technology Heritage Gallery, Information Revolution Gallery, Human Biology Gallery, Pre-Historic Life Gallery and the Fun Science Gallery among others.

3.National Rail Museum, Chanakyapuri

The Rail Museum offers a window into the railway heritage of the country. Also known as the National Railway Museum, this space is spread over 10 acres and displays some of the most awe-inspiring and fascinating railway paraphernalia. Established in 1977 on February 1st, the railway museum strives to preserve and protect the 163 years old railway heritage of India . The museum of railway has about 88 real-life size outdoor exhibits comprising of locomotives, saloons, carriages, crane, and special coaches of various gauges. 4.National Museum , Rajpath area

The National Museum in New Delhi, also known as the National art Museum of India, is one of the largest museums in India. Established in 1949, it holds a variety of articles ranging from pre-historic era to modern works of art. It functions under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The museum is situated on Janpath.[1] The blue–print of the National art Museum had been prepared by the Gwyer Committee set up by the Government of India in 1946. The museum has around 200,000 works of art, mostly Indian, but some of foreign origin, covering over 5,000 years.
It also houses the National Museum Institute of History of Art, Conservation and Museology on the first floor which was established in 1983 and has been to be a university since 1989, and runs Masters and Doctoral level courses in art history, conservation and museology

5.Charkha Museum , Connaught Place

The charkha features 26 feet (8 meters) long and 13 feet (4 meters) high chromium stainless steelspinning wheel (charkha). It is weighing five tons and there is no effect of heat on it. Also it is rust resistant and non-magnetic. This Charkha museum is the world’s largest spinning wheel. This museum depicts the history and evolution of Charkha museum ,from a humble instrument to a symbol of Nationalism. This tool or machine empowered Indian citizens, as they started weaving indigenous (made in India) cloths using the Charkha museum. It was established by The president of BJP Amit Shah on 21st May,2017. It has been jointly constructed by New Delhi Municipal Council and the Khadi Development and Village Industries Commission.
